Summary:
POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Staff Instructor IV – EMS Instructor position will provide instruction in the classroom, lab, and clinical sites for the EMT, Advanced EMT, and Paramedic Program sponsored by State Fire Rescue Training (SFRT) District 3.
This position will be responsible for leading the paramedic education at the Owensboro Community & Technical College (OCTC) campus as well as serving as the Lead Instructor for the EMT classes. This position will be responsible for operating an EMT Program each semester. Recruiting new students into the program is part of the responsibilities
This is a defined-term contract position renewable each fiscal year and is located in Calhoun, Kentucky.

Qualifications:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or GED and four (4) years of relevant experience or equivalent.
Must be a Kentucky Licensed Paramedic with ten (10) years of field experience.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
Associate Degree and ten (10) years of relevant experience or equivalent.
KY law requires state and national pre-employment background checks as a condition of employment.
