POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direct supervision of the production supervisor, the blister machine operator is responsible for set up and operation of all blister equipment, over wrap machines, quality of finished product, load cartons and foil and ensures all procedures are accurate. Must follow all cGMP practices and keep area neat and clean. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Set up and operate all Blister equipment, including the overwrap machines in accordance with product specifications. Must be able to troubleshoot during operation as necessary. Responsible for ensuring maximum output of Blister operations, quality of finished product, and waste control. Disassemble, clean, and reassemble all Blister equipment as necessary. Responsible for housekeeping of entire Blister operations area. Load as needed cartons and foil ensuring correct materials are being used for product produced. Report mechanical or any other type problems to maintenance or the area supervisor. Follow cGMP rules while performing daily functions.
