Check out our website at www.bestco.com or our social media pages on LinkedIn and Facebook. BestCo is currently searching for a Material Handler, 8-hour 1st Shift to be located at our Mooresville, North Carolina facility.POSITION SUMMARY:  Under the direct supervision of the production supervisor, the material handler position is responsible for moving product from one location to another as needed using a pallet jack. Must follow all cGMP rules and keep areas neat and clean at all times.ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Move product from one location to another as needed. Work with processing and machine operators to keep materials / supplies in place as needed. Move finished pallets of product from operation to staging areas as needed. Ensure work area is clean and neat at all times. With pallet jack move heavy pallets of materials / product through tight spaces. Follow BestCo’s LOTO Policy and procedures to ensure that machines or equipment are isolated from all potentially hazardous energy before performing cleaning, service or maintenance activities where they may be an unexpected energization, start-up, or release of stored energy. Follow cGMP rules while performing daily functions. Any other duties that may be assigned by the supervisor REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or GED Experience with scanners and computers Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Must be open to work any shift that is necessary depending on the business needs Able to stand for long periods of time Basic computer knowledge (must be able to log on and complete required cGMP SOP training and email)  PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 6 months of forklift experience Experience in Distribution center/warehouse, loading, unloading trucks Experience in the pharmaceutical industry FDA experience Certified Production Technician through NCMI "NO OUTSIDE RECRUITING AGENCIES PLEASE" All offers of employment are conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation, drug screen, and employment eligibility verification (E-verify).  Qualifications
