Job Description Night Support - 3rd shift help desk
1 yr plus contract possible right to hire for an IT Help desk specialist for Night support – providing IT support for Networks, Linux Servers, hardware and mobile devices.
All work is being done REMOTELY.
Candidates must have 2-4 years IT help desk experience. AAS Degree or A+, Net + certification.
This is a Night support position – We have 2 shifts to fill: Monday-Friday 8pm-5am shift and Sunday-Thursday 8p-5am shift.
There will be 1-2 weeks of training during the day until you are assigned night shift.
Duties include: Provide routine help desk – technical phone support for hardware and software issues.
Windows operating systems, PC Connectivity issues, Cisco routers and switches – configuration and troubleshooting – executing command prompts ,
Linux/Unix and server support. (Command line)
Shell and SQL scripting – executing scripts, error monitoring, configuration and support.
We offer discounted health/dental and 401k benefits after 90 days. Hourly pay rate starts at $18/hr
