Job Summary:
To lead and manage their team of Training Analysts ensuring the team support exercises to the required standard. In addtion involvement in conducting training analysis, producing AAR and supporting militray training and Doctrine
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
* Manage training analysts
* Supervision of the day to day running of analyst team.
* Manage TA programme to support TESEX.
* Liaison with OCs and other military staff.
* Apply previous military experience in order to advise OCs of tactical situation.
* Interpret visual and audio data.
* Provide regular and accurate reports and information to OCs.
* Identify and highlight training lessons.
* Identify and adopt means of presenting data to best effect.
* Maintain currency in doctrine, tactics, equipment and procedures.
* Operate IT system to produce objective evidence of training lessons utilising data analysis functions and other tools.
* Operate within time restrictions to produce AAR.
* Interpret visual and audio data.
* Operate Communications equipment.
* Maintain military currency.
* Provide input to BG AAR
* Monitor and operate the OCCN system to communicate with OCs.
* Monitor multi net communications network.
* Maintain working knowledge of C/S system, CEIs, VP, security codes and ORBATs.
* Communicate, using OCCN, with military staff.
* Interpret calls for fire, Artillery, Rockets, Mortars, Air and NBC.
* Implement minefields and obstacles
* Operate IT system to provide the desired effects within equipment and weapon limitations.
* Manage, monitor and advise on CSS in relation to simulated aspects.
* Analyse use of specialist equipment, tactics and troops by Battlegroup and advise O/C.
* Develop and maintain holistic knowledge of AWES system functionality.
* Monitor and advise on fault finding procedures.
* Communicate with military staff.
* Input military ORBAT utilising identification conventions.
* Support TAI Cadres
* Operate IT system.
* Provide timely AWES effects.
* Implement control measures.
* Implement written and verbal instructions.
* Support visits/Demos
* Assist in other AWES tasks during surge periods, when required.
* Be prepared to support training at BATUS.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Qualifications
Essential:
* Completed UK comprehensive/Military education or higher
* UK Driving licence
* Military Service to the rank of Warrant Officer
* Instructional qualification
Desirable:
* HGV C or C+E class driving licence
Skills/Experience/Knowledge
Essential:
* Military experience to the rank of Warrant Officer or junior Officer
* Current knowledge of UK military doctrine and TTPs
* High standard of IT literacy
* System administrator (MS Server)
* Data communications and networking
* Radio communications
* IT maintenance
Personal Qualities
* Must be able to lead a small team when deployed independently
* Must be able to work in a team environment
* React well under pressure
* Able to carry out manual handling as required
* Be willing to travel and spend extended periods away from normal work, both in UK and abroad
* Must be able to meet basic security vetting requirements
* A good bearing and turnout is required at all times
