Quiet Professionals , LLC is seeking a Help Desk Support Technician that is responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software. This person will install, support, and maintain local personal computers and VoIP phone equipment. The Help Desk Support Technician helps to maintain the productivity of computer users and improve employee or customer satisfaction.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Set up and configure computers and peripheral equipment such as printers, scanners, etc
• Perform audits and tests on computer systems, networks, and hardware to ensure it is functioning properly
• Track and update IT inventory
• Respond to support requests and assist in troubleshooting any problems that arise
• Attempt to replicate reported technical problems and look for solutions
• Ensure all software and hardware is up-to-date and install updates as required
• Performs daily system monitoring, verifies the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviews system and application logs and verifies completion of scheduled jobs
• Understand and adhere to Incident Management, Request Management, and Knowledge Management policies
• Must be able to troubleshoot basic to moderately complex hardware and software issues
• Must understand how to use and troubleshoot Office 365, Azure Active Directory, Windows 10/11, Mac OSX
• Must ensure all PCs and laptops remain compliant with security, patch, and antivirus updates
• Champions customer support through positive interaction and advocacy of all end-user issues
• Must be able to lift upwards of 50lbs, stand for long periods of time, climb stairs, crawl under and/or between desks.
• Must be able to perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• High school or equivalent (Required)
• Customer support: 2 years (Required)
Preferred:
• A.S. Information Technology with two or more years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A+ certification is a plus
