We are seeking a full-time Tax Accountant to work in our Tampa, FL tax office. The Tax Accountant is expected to perform a wide range of duties for this tax office focusing on small business and individual tax clients.   Duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following: Organize and maintain corporate financial records for several companies  Tax accounting for individual clients and businesses  Prepare Individual, trust and estate tax returns   Prepare Corporate and Partnership tax returns based on financial statements from accounting software  Make adjustments to books based on tax return   Record journal entries for depreciation and new purchases of real and tangible property   Prepare of Tax based Financial Statements  Other duties as assigned Education, Experience and Skills Required: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or an equivalent combination of education and experience; EA or CPA required Minimum seven years’ experience preparing taxes and providing accounting, payroll and bookkeeping services   Experience with Accounting CS, Ultra Tax CS and Fixed Assets CS   Experience working directly with clients and ability to clearly explain accounting and tax matters to clients   A pleasant attitude, team-oriented and professional mindset         Ability to pay close attention to detail and make rules-based, analytical decisions Highly organized and proactive thinker able to meet deadlines inherent in the tax and accounting profession. Public Accountant Experience Required 7- years: Minimum seven years’ experience preparing taxes and providing accounting, payroll and bookkeeping services
