Job Description Staffmark is recruiting for a Direct Hire – Collections Administrator for our client located in Mooresville, NC. You will be an employee of the client Day 1! Job Description: You will support the Collections Supervisor in the completion of company goals.
Schedule: Monday- Friday, 8am to 5pm.
Required Qualifications:
• At least 3-5 years' experience in a collections position.
• Ability to navigate through Windows based applications.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
• High school diploma required.
• Associate's degree in accounting/business or related field a plus.
• Detail oriented.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent organizational ability.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Excellent data entry skills.
• Ability to work both independently and with others as needed.
Responsibilities:
• Contact customers with outstanding balances through telephone, email and other communication methods.
• Collect outstanding balances using a collection software.
• Update customer files as needed to maintain accurate notes, billing and contact information.
• Meet and/or exceed weekly daily bills outstanding (DBO) goals.
• Analyze weekly report and work to reduce DBO.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers to affect payment.
• Respond to customer queries in a timely manner.
• Develop positive relationships with agents/brokers, collections staff and other necessary personnel.
• Communicate with management information about accounts which may require outside collection support, agent chargeback or legal action.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports as required.
• Participate in training as required.
• Assist other departments as required.
