Date Posted: 2022-08-31-07:00Country: United States of AmericaLocation: CAG01: CTD-Athens, GA 700 Olympic Drive, Athens, GA, 30601 USAAs Service Engineer, You Will:Provide technical support and investigation of issues reported by fieldReceive and respond to escalated technical issues by telephone and CRM applications.Interfaces directly with dealers and field service engineers throughout the problem resolution process, including understanding customer issues, conveying action plans, and communicating updates and resolutionResolve complex technical issues through research, data analysis, and advanced troubleshootingWork directly with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to develop a resolution to problems.Manage schedule of assigned projects, determine priority levels, and set expectations for other teamsDocument support cases, identifying the root cause, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for new knowledge base content.Represent “Voice of Service” for product improvement and new product development projectsServe as technical lead for field evaluation unitsDevelop technical documentation including manuals, service bulletins, and work instructionsCreate and present content for training events and seminarsWho Are Looking ForMinimum 3-5 years of experience in a technical fieldCustomer-focused and team-oriented.Experience troubleshooting common rail diesel engines and emissions systems Understanding of electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration systemsMust be self-motivated, with a sense of urgency and efficiency and a strong work ethic.Excellent interpersonal skillsExcellent spoken and written skills in English. 2nd language (Spanish) is a bonus.Ability to communicate high-level troubleshooting to remote techniciansPrevious experience in support roles Excellent interpersonal soft skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team Skills We SeekBachelor’s degree or equivalent work experienceAbility to use and interpret outputs from electrical diagnostic and data recording equipmentPrevious service experience in (automotive/heavy equipment/truck/refrigeration), or related fieldProficiency in SalesforceCreation of automated processes and workflowsUnderstanding of battery electric vehiclesFamiliar with continuous process improvement methodologyExperience writing and editing technical documentationProficient with Microsoft Office applicationsExperience reading technical drawings and schematicsCarrier is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
