Why You'll Love This Job:
This Director will provide strategic vision and day-to-day management for the Cyber Blue Team in partnership with the Threat Management Center (TMC) leadership and lead the preparation, detection and analysis, containment, eradication, recovery, and post-incident activity related to cyber-incidents. Cyber Incident Response combines a series of technical and non-technical components to establish the recommended cyber-incident detection, response, coordination, and resolution actions.
Your Primary Responsibilities:
• Provide strategic vision and day-to-day management for the Cyber Blue Team in partnership with the Threat Management Center (TMC) Directors
• Ensure that the Cyber Blue Team Members continuously develop their breadth and depth of skills
• Responsible for managing the organization’s abilities to detect and respond to cyber security incidents, as well as providing recommendations to improve existing solutions or deployment of new solutions to address identified gaps Develop and rive cybersecurity initiatives related to cybersecurity event analysis and incident response
• Represent the TMC area in collaboration with regulators, auditors and senior leadership to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, organizational audits and alignment with corporate policies
• Work with internal teams to expand security solutions such as SIEM, security monitoring (EDR/XDR), etc.
• Manage reporting to provide visibility and awareness to leadership related to the cyber security risk
• Create maintain and manage documentation for all services provided by the Cyber Blue Team

Talents Needed for Success:
• Minimum of 7+ years of related experience; 3+ years managing a security operations center or related function
• Bachelor's degree preferred with master’s or equivalent experience
• Strong communication skills, including executive communication to senior leadership
• Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR/XDR, and related cyber security tools and controls
• Strong, demonstrable program management experience in cybersecurity incident response
• Knowledge of industry-standard Information Security frameworks, policies, and procedures
