THE OPPORTUNITY
The Financial Reporting (Senior) Manager reports to the Controller and works closely with internal managers and external partners.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Manage the corporate financial reporting process, including the preparation of consolidated financial statements.
• Leading financial reporting projects such as the implementation of changes in accounting standards
• Review and deliver concise variance analysis (e.g. actual results vs prior periods QTD, and YTD) for Financial Statement caption lines at the segment, line of business, and unit levels.
• Participates in monthly revenue of financial information
• Leads and or assists on financial and regulatory audits work closely with internal partners and external auditors
• Works with corporate finance in the preparation of external financial packages
• Performs additional ad-hoc duties, as assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration
• CPA strongly preferred
• At least 7 years of experience in accounting/finance
• Prior experience working for a “Big 4” accounting firm and/or corporate accounting experience, preferably in healthcare
• Experience working with multiple legal entities
• Experience with financial reporting requirements, as well as interacting with PF&A team/s
• Month and Year-End experience
• Strong problem-solving skills and work ethic
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Advance knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel
• Oracle NetSuite knowledge is helpful but not required
