Accounts Payable Specialist

Lee Hecht Harrison Recruitment Solutions (LHH) is partnering with a leading automotive shop to fill their open Accounts Payable Specialist position based in Tampa, FL. In this role, you are given the opportunity to work with a collaborative, growing and stable company. To qualify, you must possess at least 3 years of recent, relevant experience in accounts payable. This is a DIRECT-HIRE job.
Responsibilities:
• Process and pay 80-100 vendor invoices daily
• Following up with vendors and flagging discrepancies in a timely manner
• Manage weekly check run and distribute checks as necessary
• Review and reconcile vendor statements
• Generate vendor setup forms and check requests as required
• Process credit card transactions and assist with month-end duties
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 3 years of recent accounts payable experience
• Fluency in Microsoft Suite 2007; high proficient in Excel
• Knowledge of Great Plains accounting software preferred
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently
Education:
• Minimum of High School Diploma or GED required
Compensation:
• $40,000 USD to $50,000 USD annually based on experience
