The Audit and Controls Issues Governance analyst is part of the Risk and Control team driving transformation of GFT’s risk and issue culture.  This lead level analyst will be part of the Issues Governance and Validation team responsible for leading cultural and process evolution to improve oversight, management, and quality of GFT’s issue remediation. The role governs the end-to-end issue management lifecycle ensuring risk is appropriately mitigated timely and issue and remediation plan documentation and evidence aligns to GFT, IA, and other firm standards. This role will also develop, maintain, and deliver Issues Governance Scorecards to inform Executive Management and escalate any areas not meeting expectations. The analyst in this role will partner with Risk Officers and the Issues Management teams in performing the challenge and monitoring of Issues to ensure that risk is mitigated timely and appropriately.   Specific Responsibilities (but not limited to):Support audit and control issue process transformation through communication and training relevant GFT stakeholders.Operate as leads of issue governance and validation processes by, challenging issue documentation, severity assessments and design of remediation plans and remediation documentationDevelops, maintains, and delivers metrics and reporting covering all aspects end-to-end of the issues management lifecycleStays abreast of Firm policies and standards related to the issue management lifecycle.Supports or participates in development of process improvement solutions, which could include automation or tools development.Provides disposition for reviewed remediation plans including resolution of risk and documentation standards including:Reviews necessary documentation, data, and evidence to validate sufficiency of remediation plans, including challenge or escalation to ensure quality of remediation documentation.Monitors for potential GFT Regulatory issue impact.Collaborates with Risk Officers providing timely feedback related to their aligned divisions issues and action plans.Collaborates with 2nd and 3rd Lines of Defense as needed during implementation of new requirements, monitoring of issues portfolio, and remediation activities.Qualifications:6+ year’s experience in Audit, Operational Risk and Compliance, or other Business Risk & Controls.4+ years’ experience using data to independently build and create metrics, key report indicators, charts, trends, and other analysis in tools such as MS Excel, SharePoint, Cognos, Tableau or similar tools is required.Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skillsEffective organizational influencing skills required.Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to see the big pictures with high attention to critical details.Demonstrated ability to develop and implement process improvement initiatives.Education:Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience-------------------------------------------------Job Family Group: Risk Management-------------------------------------------------Job Family:Business Risk & Controls------------------------------------------------------Time Type:Full time------------------------------------------------------Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.Qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to their race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.Citigroup Inc. and its subsidiaries ("Citi”) invite all qualified interested applicants to apply for career opportunities.
