Built on meritocracy, our unique company culture rewards self-starters and those who are committed to doing what is best for our customers.Brown & Brown is seeking a Marketing Executive for our Commercial Lines team in Pinellas or Tampa Bay, Florida.Marketing Executive will manage carrier relationships , contracts & compile insurance programs for our insured.WHAT YOU’LL DO:Markets and places renewal commercial lines business, and negotiates prices and coverages with carriers.Reviews new/renewal submissions before sending them to market and coordinates accounts with several producers and/ or account executives.Assist the Marketing Leader to determine the best strategy and quotes to present to the client for the new/renewal account.For renewals, prepares the quotes for the Commercial Account Managers to do proposals.For new business, prepare quotes and proposal for producer to present to insured.Assists in developing carrier relationships.Keep current with changing marketplace.Attend carrier meetings.Participates in seminars and classes for skill and knowledge development.Determines target markets and industry classes for marketing and producer intel.Coordinates agency commission goals and production results internally and with carriers.Researches, analyzes, and monitors industry trends so that market opportunities may be capitalized on.Evaluates market conditions to ensure the timely adjustment of marketing strategy.Recommends changes in flow of business for commercial lines to ensure the effective fulfillment of objectives and commitments. Provides flexibility to overcome market conditions and take advantage of opportunities.Prepares marketing reports.Prepares the agency plan book annually to present the agency’s achievements to carriers and keep the carriers aligned with the agency.Promotes a healthy and viable working relationship with carriers and producers.WHAT YOU’LL NEED:3+ years’ related experience and/or training preferred.Minimum High School degree.
