IN A NUTSHELL…
The Fertigation Supervisor leads the Fertigation team and will ensure the constant fertilization demands are met by preparing and mixing concentrated stock tanks, maintaining fertilizer stations with adequate supply, seeing to the proper installation of irrigation feed lines, and recording data collected from irrigation events. Additionally, the Fertigation Supervisor will handle payroll and PTO requests from the Fertigation team.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
• Mixing nutrient stock tanks, and distribution of fertilizer to each grow house
• Ensuring newly plants houses have irrigation line properly installed
• Periodic irrigation line checks to ensure all plants receive proper water and fertilizer
• Data collection of irrigation events recorded and maintained in a shared spreadsheet with the grow team
• Calibration of pH/EC probes and maintaining a clean work environment
• Payroll and PTO management for all Fertigation team members
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS YOU’LL BRING
Required
• Age 21 or over
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Government-Issued Photo ID
• 2-3 years of supervisory experience leading teams
• Experience with in-house propagation, understanding of proper fertilizers and pesticides
• Experience with good agricultural practices as well as good handling practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment
• Analytically and communicatively intelligent
• Focuses simultaneously on short- and long-term goals; ability to identify problems quickly
• Accurate data-entry and record keeping
• Computer proficiency and Microsoft Office experience
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management abilities
• Proficiency in windows-based software and Internet navigation
Preferred
• 3+ years of experience in the cultivation industry, horticulture, or agriculture
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• The ability to lift 50 pounds regularly
• The ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces
• The ability to be able to be in constant standing/moving position
• The ability to perform various physical activities, including lifting, standing, and squatting
• The ability to work in extreme weather
• The ability to wear personal protective gear during portions of the day
