Description:
Operation’s liaison  to ACH Technology and Product areas for ACH projects, application development. This includes functional and business requirement reviews and signoff on projects, production application enhancements,  new product development, Q/A acceptance testing review and signoff, ensuring adherence to all corporate, regulatory and LOB policies.
Manage the staff administrative responsibilities for all areas in the ACH Production, which consist of the ACH Days/Evenings/Nights, the Preauthorized Draft Entry System (PDES), the Return Items, the Depository Concentration Services, Tax Payment Services and Database Maintenance.
Manage and control the ACH Days, Evenings, and Nights area activity consisting of file monitoring job scheduling, file distribution, accounting and endpoint settlement of ACH activity to ensure internal/external deadlines are met.
Manage and control the Depository Concentration Services (DCS) area activity of file monitoring, job scheduling, and file distribution.
Manage and control the Return Items area receipt, monitoring, data entry, accounting of return items for the Federal Reserve Bank, ACH Network, and internal/external area in order to meet departmental standards and regulatory requirements.
Manage and control the ACH CIF database Maintenance function.
Manage and control the Preauthorized Draft area consisting of file scheduling, job scheduling, reconcilement, distribution, accounting and settlement with Fed.
Manage and control all proof processes within ACH Production in accordance with corporate policies and accounting standards.  In addition, ensuring the proper submission to the department general ledger final proof (SAP).
Participate in the ACH disaster recovery processes.  This includes updating documented procedures, planning and executing, testing, and ensuring staff readiness.
Implement departmental procedural changes to ensure proper controls and improve service quality.
Develop or recommend automation strategies to eliminate manual processes or improve service quality.
Provide senior management with daily and monthly quality volume indicators.
Provide support to all areas of ACH as it relates to services, assignments, projects, troubleshooting production application, processing enhancements, and/or product issues.
Work with GAD and internal Control groups to ensure compliance on annual or periodic audits to ensure that EFTS follows all corporate policy and regulatory requirements.
Continually improve the performance of the areas, maximize efficiencies, and manage expenses, while maintaining corporate standards.
Provide a positive atmosphere for staff and coach and train them to help them achieve their professional and personal objectives.
