Registered Dental Hygienist
An established fee for services, private General Dentist office in Tampa seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) registered dental hygienist for a full-time position. The ideal candidate must possess exceptional communication skills that will enable the hygienist to provide patient education and effectively promote quality-driven treatment plan acceptance. The perfect candidate works to support the dental care team in achieving goals for quality care, patient satisfaction, and productivity. In addition to performing all duties of a registered dental hygienist, the ideal candidate will work in partnership and joint accountability with other lead team members to achieve our mission, guiding principles, culture, and goals.
Coordinate clinic activities to ensure efficient patient access to services and quality care. Effectively monitor and ensure active patient recall along with developing new patient comprehensive care. Ensure maintenance and calibration of dental/hygiene equipment. Participate as a member of the clinic lead team. Participate in organizational planning, and maintain positive working relationships with all team members—model and mentor staff in appropriate problem-solving and positive communications. Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in patient care areas. Work with other leads to maintain efficient patient and process flow between the front office and the operatory area.
Required Experience
Registered and Licensed Dental Hygienist in the State of Florida.
1-3 years experience. 1-2 years experience supervising dental assistant staff preferred.
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
