We are seeking an experienced and dynamic DIRECTOR OF REHABILITATION to join our team who is a passionate and motivated team player and who is focused on success and resident outcomes.
Our facility offers a supportive family environment with a compassionate rehab team looking for a great new leader to take the role. Rehabilitation techs are utilized to assist therapists with resident transport and administrative functions. The rehab department utilizes Net Health-Therapy and Point Click Care for billing and documentation to assist therapists with daily efficiency where quality care remains the primary focus of each therapist. The facility offers a 6-day a week, in-house comprehensive rehabilitation program where the DOR is an integral member of the interdisciplinary team. As a department head, the DOR position is considered stable and secure at one location. Each rehab department offers a spacious gym.

JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for the total daily operations of the rehabilitation department and for supporting the facility with additional responsibilities
Accountable for program growth, expense management, labor management, hiring, quality and outcome improvement and productivity management
May include direct resident care daily or as needed
Compliance with facility policy, procedures, clinical standards, infection control, documentation guidelines and regulations
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Will consider OT, PT, SLP, PTA or COTA for the position.    Candidate MUST have 5 years DOR experience in SNF setting to be considered.
Minimum of Bachelor degree in PT/OT or Masters in SLP from an accredited program, Minimum of Associates of Science in PTA/OTA from an accredited program
A current Florida OT, PT, SLP, PTA or OTA License
Strong clinical skills with the ability to mentor and educate.  Extensive knowledge of PDPM and LTC programming
Excellent leadership ability with ability to motivate, lead, encourage and redirect
Excellent professionalism with written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Must be computer/tech savvy
