Serve as a Journeyman Software Developer, Applications/Knowledge Manager for CCJ8, USCENTCOM, MacDill, AFB, Florida. Valiant, in conjunction with U.S. Central Command, Resources and Analysis Directorate (CCJ8) advocates for resources, authorities, fiscal policies, and technology development opportunities; informs
decisions through analysis, modeling, simulation, wargaming and technology identification; and manages headquarters resources so that the US Central Command Commander (CDR) and his staff and components have the tools, resources and capabilities required to successfully execute their missions. Valiant provides
technical services for Operations Research (OR) and Systems Analysis (SA); Human Dynamics (HD) Modeling and Simulation (M&S) Analysis; Modeling and Simulation Analysis; Database Programming and Data Analysis; Wargaming; USCENTCOM Planning & Wargaming Center Oversite; Requirements Analysis; Knowledge Management; Systems Engineering; Financial Management Analysis; UCP Transition; and Data and Artificial Intelligence (AI) Integration.
Responsibilities:
• Develop, create, and modify general computer applications software or specialized utility programs. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions.
• Design software or customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.
• May analyze and design databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.
Position Requirements
Qualifications:
• 3 to 10 years of experience
• BA/BS in related field; MA/MS degree preferred
• Must have a current active DoD Top Secret Clearance and prescreened for SCI eligibility
• Staff Experience at the Component, Major Command Levels
