Serve as the Modeling & Simulation Lead ORSA at the Wargaming Center USCENTCOM in Tampa. Florida for the Resources and Analysis Directorate (CCJ8). The CCJ8 advocates for resources, authorities, fiscal policies, and technology development opportunities; informs decisions through analysis, modeling, simulation, wargaming and technology identification; and manages headquarters resources so that the US Central Command Commander (CDR) and his staff and components have the tools, resources and capabilities required to successfully execute their missions. Valiant provides technical services for Operations Research (OR) and Systems Analysis (SA); Human Dynamics (HD) Modeling and Simulation (M&S) Analysis; Modeling and Simulation Analysis; Database Programming and Data Analysis; Wargaming; USCENTCOM Planning & Wargaming Center Oversite; Requirements Analysis; Knowledge Management; Systems Engineering; Financial Management Analysis; UCP Transition; and Data and Artificial Intelligence (AI) Integration.
Responsibilities:
• Provide Staff Experience at the Component, Major Command Levels.
• Oversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job.
• Formulate and apply mathematical modeling and other optimizing methods to develop and interpret information that assists management with decision making, policy formulation, or other managerial functions.
• Collect and analyze data and develop decision support software, service, or products.
• Develop and supply optimal time, cost, or logistics networks for program evaluation, review, or implementation.
Position Requirements
Requirements:
• Modeling & Simulation Lead ORSA highly desired.
• 10 years of experience related to the job description listed above.
• A MA/MS degree: A Master's in engineering, business, or a related field from an accredited university or college.
• Must have a current active DoD Top Secret Clearance and prescreened for SCI eligibility.
• Staff Experience at the Component, Major Command Levels.
