Typically a small number of people within the business that provide the same level of expertise. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Accountable for significant direct business results or authoritative advice regarding the operations of the business. Necessitates a degree of responsibility over technical strategy. Primarily affects a sub-function. Responsible for handling staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work within the team/project.Responsibilities:Planning:Develop/refresh O&T section of CBNA Strategic and Operating PlanSupport CBNA O&T Governance Head with annual planning for program resources and fundingDevelop program delivery plans for CBNA O&T Governance functionManagement Reporting:Monitor O&T-managed risk appetite UKI breaches for trends and for addressing root causesMonitor timely resolution of high severity control issuesEnsure that root cause analysis and lessons learned are implemented for high severity incidents/eventsEnsure the timely publication management reports and meeting material for CBNA O&T Governance meetingsAssist with data analysis to investigate adverse trends and to address queries from CBNA managementCBNA O&T Routines Coordination:Develop agenda and spotlight topics for CBNA O&T Governance reviewsSupport CBNA Governance team on deep dives for O&T topicsManage the action items and follow-ups from CBNA O&T meetingsEnsure that program documentation is up-to-date and organizedCulture & Talent:Coordinate the VOE program for CBNA O&T on a rotation basisEnsure that CBNA O&T team is up-to-date with the required training and development plansControls:Ensure that standard operating procedures are up-to-date and are followed for recurring CBNA O&T routinesEstablish quality and timeliness metrics for CBNA O&T team and O&T partners and review them with Manager and teamMaintain Risk & Issue log for CBNA O&T programSupport CBNA O&T Governance Head with interactions with O&T Risk & Control, Audit and RegulatorsFinance: Work with EO&T COO CAO/Finance to ensure that monthly financials are in-line with planned spend and headcountAssist the Business in key policy adherence and monitoring.Keep Management aware of the risk and control environment of the Business through continuous and open communication, buy preparing and host Business Risk Committee meetings with Senior Management to present and follow-up on issues, concerns and corrective action plans.Update and maintain a robust Manager’s Control Assessment (MCA) in compliance with the Citi Operational Risk Policy.Ensure adherence to the Citi Operational Risk Policy in regard to operational loss approvals and reporting.Ensure that the Business has a sound control environment from an information security perspective, including adherence to relevant policies where appropriate.Responsible for the coordination of key projects, including ensuring that annual Know Your Client (KYC) periodic reviews are timely executed.Serve as main point of contact for audit groups and ensure that all audit requests are timely and appropriately provided.Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.Qualifications:10+ years experience in Operational Risk Management, Audit, Compliance or other control functionFamiliarity with Technology Risk, Cyber Risk, Third party Risk, Processing Risk, Project Management risk and Human Capital Risk.Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skillsSQL, Python, Dataiku or Knime, Excel VBA.
