This position works Monday – Thursday, ten hours a day with occasional overtimeRESPONSIBILITIES:Perform preventative maintenancePerform quality checks on all frames to ensure highest quality of framesComplete work required within the cycle timeMust be able to mig weldAdhere to all safety requirements and wear appropriate (PPE) Personal Protection EquipmentMaintain shop supplies and floor stock and tools used in product processesRecommend improvements consistently striving for efficient and effective methodologiesMaintain departmental quality standardsOther duties as assigned*Education / CertificationsHigh School Diploma or GED*Experience/QualificationsAbility to work effectively in a team environmentMust be at least 18 years of age or olderMust have 1 year welding experience in a manufacturing environment. Must have the ability to bend, stoop, stand, and squat.  This position requires the ability to stand for extended periods of time along with routine lifting of items that typically weigh up to 35 poundsThis position also involves routine lifting of items that typically weigh up to 35 pounds, weight may exceed that value for intermittent periods*.Ability to use hand tools such as battery operated tools, hand click torque tools, tie wrap cutters, nut drivers, and DC electric toolsKnowledge of continuous improvement methodologiesEEO/AAP StatementCarrier Corporation is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
