Description:
Central Screening Unit (CSU) is a firm-wide utility responsible for all transaction and message screening at JPMorgan across all lines of business.  The CSU works closely with Compliance and the Lines of Business to ensure that the appropriate data and formats are submitted for screening, that the policies and procedures associated to the process support a robust and controlled sanction screening program and that all required transaction data is screened. The CSU is always an audit-ready state from both internal and external auditors, including regulators.  The team operates in 4 sites in a 24 hr/ 7 day operating model:  Manila, Mumbai, Singapore and Tampa are the core sites, and work closely with other screening departments around the globe.
We are currently recruiting for a Vice President to become part of the Central Screening Utility. This role is responsible for leading and executing the delivery of Sanctions strategic projects. Driven by innovation and client demand, these are critical initiatives which require flawless execution to prevent Operational, LOB and client impact. The focus of this role will be to work with Technology, Data Science, Operations and Compliance to define and drive the book of work, assess and provide status and collaborate on solving risks/issues and establishing "path to green" solutions. The candidate will work in an environment that offers significant exposure to key stakeholders along with senior management. The solutions we deliver are highly visible and impactful, which places a high expectation and premium on performance and results.
This role requires a wide range of strengths and capabilities, including:
• Strong understanding of project and program management discipline and standards
• Successful experience in driving and delivering strategic/multi-year projects
• Knowledge and experience within the Payments space; lifecycles and supporting control services
• Strong understanding of Waterfall and Agile methods; stakeholder, budget and risk management
• Ability to create and maintain relationships with key stakeholder groups across lines of business
• Experience in creating and delivering executive level presentations and updates
• Functional knowledge of the Sanctions process a plus
• Experience with defining process improvements and data analysis required to support requirements/strategic solutions
• Experience with Jira issue tracking, demand and defect management (post implementation validation and support)
• Responsible for a variety of pre-implementation tasks required to support change events impacting the Transaction Screening Utility. Including but not limited to defining operating model, implementing procedures and SLAs, and facilitating training globally
• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
Skills Required
• Strong communication, problem solving skills and a high aptitude for learning
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferable
• Prior experience as a business analyst and project manager
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and time management skills
• Strong teamwork and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience working within an Agile development lifecycle a plus
• Strong communication, presentation (both oral and written) & influencing skills
• Strong partnership record and ability to build effective business relationships
• Ability to lead, adapt and drive change in a dynamic environment
• Extensive knowledge and experience utilizing the Microsoft office suite, Tableau a plus
• Experience working and partnering with Risk, Audit and Compliance a plus
• Ability and experience in facing clients to identify scope and requirements
