We’re now hiring for a Lead Furniture Mover at Staging Depot in Rockwell, NC.

Typical day in the life as a Lead Furniture Mover:
• Attention to detail and knowledge of proper wrapping, loading, and unloading processes will help
• you to successfully assist our valued customers
• Ability to communicate prices and add ons to the customers clearly and effectively
• Ability to safely use moving machinery
• Organization skills – You will need organizational skills to plan how to best pack items and arrange
• them in the moving truck
• Tasks may include taking apart furniture, putting furniture together, wrapping items in bubble
• wrap or stretch wrap, putting loose items in boxes and sealed bags, placing all furniture and
• environment safety equipment and using straps and cardboard sheets on large items
• You will use equipment like dollies and ramps to load and unload customers’ items from their
• home or business to and from the truck
• You will arrange items in the truck to fit the load and prevent objects from falling or getting
• damaged
• Make sure all daily truck inspections are performed (tire pressure, oil, inventory of equipment for
• moving and staging, etc)
• Performs all other duties as assigned
What are we looking for?
• Minimum of one year experience working on a moving crew or as a delivery driver preferred
• Strong relationship builder
• Ability to multi-task, work independently
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
