The incumbent will be responsible for Management of complex projects, either within one technology, or within multiple technologies and overseeing the complete lifecycle of all the projects.Key interface between Sales and Operations organizations and the customer. During execution, key focus is on the customer centricity and internally on quality, cost, profitability, timeline and risk management.Developing and maintaining a successful and efficient collaboration with assigned customers and managing their existing programs or portfolio with Lonza. Thorough, effective management of the local program teams with overall customer project execution responsibility for existing business portfolios.Key AccountabilitiesLead project execution after deal closure for complex projects.  Direct, lead and motivate multi-disciplinary project teams and hold team members accountable to deliver results within an agreed project governance structure to ensure customer satisfaction throughout the life of the program. Shared customer relationship management with Account Managers.Act as single point of contact for customer on his/her project with regards to operational questions and ensure each project milestone is delivered in line with the agreed objectives.  Act as the customer advocate and champion in the Lonza organization.Manage project scope and obtain commitment to the scope & timelines from the project team, relevant stakeholders and the Customer. Ensure that all are working in accordance to the agreed plan throughout the project lifecycle.Ensure the right and effective internal and external governance are in place and are effective. Also ensures very clear alignment of internal stakeholders.Responsible for project profitability and all financial aspects of projects managed e.g. cost control to ensure the expected profitability is achieved, invoicing and timely securing of future purchase orders and production forecast updates etc.Prepare amendments and/or scope changes to ongoing projects.Adhere to all defined Safety and Sustainability requirements and expectations and seek clarification whenever Safety and Sustainability requirements and expectations are either unknown or unclearPromptly report identified Safety and Sustainability issues, problems, deficiencies, errors, incidents, and/or opportunities to management and correct where possibleStop work where deemed necessary to maintain safetyKey Requirements:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or ScienceSubstantial experience in a cGMP Pharmaceutical environmentMinimum of 7-10 years of Program Management experienceDemonstrated leadership, business acumen and persuasive communication skills.Every day, Lonza’s products and services have a positive impact on millions of people.
