Summary
Are you an experienced HR professional who is looking for a new opportunity with a stable, growing company? This innovative software company is looking for a Director, Human Resources who will support the administrative needs of the CEO and HR Officer, as well as fulfill the HR administration needs of the HR Officer and employees. This is a full-time position with excellent benefits located in Tampa, Florida.
Responsibilities
• Handle inquiries and questions from employees, researching and problem solving with other members of the HR team as needed
• Participate in recruitment efforts by posting job ads, organizing resumes, managing job
• applications, scheduling job interviews, assisting in interview process, and completing background and reference checks
• Process new employees' compensation and benefits, documents, employment and tax information and plan new hire orientation and training
• Handle benefits tasks, such as enrollments, claims resolutions, reconciling benefit statements and approving invoices for payment
• Maintain records for grievances, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions
• Complete termination paperwork and assisting with exit interviews
Skills & Requirements
Requirements
• 5+ years of experience working in an HR role, 2+ years in a leadership capacity
• Deep understanding of HRIS's and the Microsoft Office Suite
• Thorough knowledge of HR compliance and procedures
• Experience managing confidential information with complete discretion
• Strong project management, multi-tasking and organizational skills
• Work with benefit vendors/administrators to resolve problems & answer questions and build & maintain accurate reports and spreadsheets
Soft Skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral, with a positive and professional demeanor
• Analytical with a demonstrated ability to reconcile numbers, reports and spreadsheets
• Background of successfully solving problems and conducting research
Education
• Bachelor's Degree
• Human Resources designation(s) preferred
