Responsibilities
The IT System Analyst position is responsible for analysis, support, configuration and change management as it relates to Oracle e-Business financials. Dedicated to meeting the requirements and expectations of internal and external customers; establishes and maintains the integrity and security of financial and customer information. Assists in the development and implementation of processes to enhance system capabilities. Identifies gaps, challenges and opportunities while recommending ideas and solutions.
Works closely with management and other departments to understand and incorporate business processes and informational data requirements. Participates in I.T. projects in relation to the financial systems --Activities includes but are not limited to scope definition, requirements, deliverables, measures and documentation. Monitor and resolve financial related user's support tickets
Documents system release information for implementation of new and changed processes and procedures. Works closely with management and training resources to develop, establish and proof instructional documentation to support business associates in use of business systems and processes.
Supports and participates in other projects as needed.
Qualifications
• Strong organizational, time management and multi-tasking abilities.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong functional and technical experience in Oracle e-Business ERP application required.
• Functional knowledge of Oracle e-Business Financial modules including Tax, AR, AP and GL is required.
• Experience with Oracle e-Business customization best practices and ability to understand existing Oracle customization in our current environment.
• Troubleshooting Oracle related technical issues required.
• Collaborating with Business Analysts, Project Leads and IT team to resolve issues and ensuring solutions are viable and consistent.
• Define and coordinate the execution of testing procedures and develop test cases to serve the overall quality assurance process.
• Provide documentation of all processes and training as needed.
• Customer-centric approach with personal drive and energy to commit towards achieving company goals.
• Strong writing and oral communication skills; able to express oneself clearly and convincingly in writing, one-on-one and in groups with all levels of management, employees, and customers. Strong listening skills: able to listen and respond to information effectively and to give and receive feedback.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• BA/BS Degree or combination of education and commensurate experience.
