An opportunity is available within our Finance team for a dynamic and driven finance professional to join as Vice-President, of Controls and Analysis, responsible for managing the overall Manager Control Assessments (MCA) program for Finance Control Management (FCM). This role will focus on adequacy of design of control and ensuring that the proper mechanisms are in place to efficiently monitor the ongoing effectiveness of those controls.   This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced industry professional.Job responsibilities:MCA Coordinator for Finance Control Management (FCM).Responsible for oversight of the Manager Control Assessment (MCA) program to assess effectiveness of controls, communicate gaps to management, and enhance where required. Drive continued MCA improvement and standardization.  Responsible for assessing design of control, effectiveness of monitoring methodologies, and working with the AU owner/process owner on necessary enhancements.Ensure MCA initiatives and enhancements, including standard and/or enterprise MCA profiles (EMPs/SMPs), are reviewed, communicated, and implemented in a timely manner as applicable.Communicate MCA results, coordinating, preparing, and presenting the QRA (quarterly results assessment) and ARA (annual risk assessment).Analyzes test results and work with the AU Owners/process owners to develop remedial actions for any test fails.Provide guidance to AU Owners/process owners on all MCA related topics and adequacy of controls for new processes.Responsible for quarterly testing/monitoring of common controls for the FCM Assessment Unit.Build relationships with functional business leaders, and cross-functional team members to identify, escalate and mitigate emerging risks; and lead or support projects to address those risks.Directly interface with ORM (operational risk management) on any ORM driven reviews.Drive the implementation of 'best practices' drawing on collective risk experience/ knowledge, efficiencies, and internal audit/compliance requirements.Supports the Controller MCA Champion and manages and/or participate in ad hoc projects as required.Persuades and influences others through strong communication and diplomacy skills.Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.Additional Job DescriptionPosition Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or equivalent experience required.A professional accountant designation is a plus6-10 years of progressive work experience (with a focus on audit, accounting, controls and process management)Strong knowledge of internal control principlesExperience with internal systems (e.g. CitiRisk GRC, iCAPS) also a plus.Proven analytic, and problem solving skills, with the ability to analyze and develop unique solutions to business issuesDemonstrated leadership skills, with ability to influence and gain support for objectivesSelf-motivated individual capable of adapting to change, managing multiple tasks and continuously evaluating priorities to lead tasks/projects to completionExcellent interpersonal and written and verbal communication skillsExhibits high standards of business and personal ethical conductProficient computer skills, especially Excel-------------------------------------------------Job Family Group: Finance-------------------------------------------------Job Family:Process Control------------------------------------------------------Time Type:Full time------------------------------------------------------Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.Qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to their race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.Citigroup Inc. and its subsidiaries ("Citi”) invite all qualified interested applicants to apply for career opportunities.
