The Role
The MiTek Technical Development Manager (TDM) role is dynamic; dealing with multiple customers globally and supporting a large team university-graduate engineers / architects to help support them deliver high-quality, professional, error-free design work, estimating, and engineering to the customer.
Primarily focused on helping on-board new customers and their MiTek Services staff in Vietnam, the role also encompasses expanding product offerings with existing customers and improving system efficiency and effectiveness ultimately supporting a team of 300 - 500 engineers / architects. Currently there are team of 4 TDM's expanding to 7 to cater for the continued growth of the business. Part of the 2,000 staff representing the Operations division of MiTek Services in Vietnam, the TDM reports to the General Manager of an Operations Segment; however, the TDM role works across all operational segments; Fabricators / Component Manufacturers, Residential Home Builders, Home Builder Suppliers and Commercial.
A strong, robust, and effective communication mandate is a key component of the role - maintaining a constant feedback loop with customers during their initial on-boarding program of up to three months; and then on-going as the relationship continues to expand. The TDM's extensive knowledge of western construction methodologies will ensure that the quality and experience of the initial on-boarding will ensure a strong and robust customer relationship exists with a deep understanding and knowledge of their requirements. Again, this will assist in providing solutions through our diverse range of product offerings and improve on-boarding time frames.
Additionally, the role has a positive impact on both customer and employee experience by providing and supporting a professional development component for all staff.
Skills

Experience
* 10+ years' operating in the United States, Australia, or United Kingdom construction industry
* In depth understanding of Western construction industry and the associated build methodology
* Proven ability to provide factually correct direction to others relating to the tasks and good understanding of western build methodology and terminology
* Demonstrate a track record of providing good customer service
