Type: Full time (temp-to hire)
Pay rate: $16/HR
Schedule: Mond through Thurs 7am to 5:30 pm, Friday 7am to 3:30 pm and Sat 7:00am to noon
•
Learn how to use the scanner and computer system to punch in and out, scan panels as assembled and track time worked on jobs
•
Learn to operate all tools required in a safe and effective manner
•
Understand when to replace tools and parts to ensure quality products and safe use
•
Learn to read, understand and apply information on job, metal and panel labels
•
Learn to identify quality defects and to ensure production of a quality panel
•
Learn to identify and distinguish assembly differences between male and female sides as well as inside and outside of the panels/railsLearn to identify different types of metal
•
Measure panel components for all correct dimensions
•
Properly inspect and prepare metal for panel building
•
Attach exterior and interior metal to high density or wood frame
•
Applies and inspects stapling for quality and accuracy
•
Stage panels on stacks by job numbers (when possible)for press loading
•
Assist with press loading and unloading
•
Consistently maintain the cleanliness and organization of the department.
•
Clean up area when shift is finished
•
Other responsibilities as assigned
