What you get to do:
• Assist and process current and new Ambassadors concerning issue of uniforms, ID Badges, Parking stickers, hang tags, and name tags etc.
• Operate cash register for cash or credit card transactions
• Hemming pants, sewing patches on shirts, alterations as needed
• General warehouse stock duties and inventory
• Laundry to include operation of washers and dryers (linen, rags, uniforms, etc.)
• Administer wardrobe guidelines with current and new Ambassadors
• Maintain daily paperwork
• Interact with guest by greeting them and providing excellent service in an efficient and courteous manner
• Work in a team environment and interact with others in a professional manner
• Maintain money and sales information for audit and balance
• Follow proper cash handling procedures, as defined by the Cash handling Policies
• Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs
What it takes to succeed:
• At least 18 years of age
• Sewing experience preferred
• Computer knowledge preferred (Access, Excel, Word and Outlook)
• Public speaking experience preferred
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated
• Demonstrate excellent knowledge and role model of SEA safety, guest service, cleanliness, attendance and wardrobe standards.
• Learn and effectively use Point of Sale Systems (cash register)
• Maintain monies and sales information for audit and balance
• Follow proper cash handling procedures, as defined by the Cash *Handling Policies
• Good organizational and writing skills
• Communicate professionally and effectively with ambassadors and guests
What else is important:
• Able to lift, push, pull and/or carry up to 40 lbs. on an occasional basis
• Position engages in extensive walking and standing throughout entire work shift and climb/ascend heights
• Able to work indoors and outdoors, in varying Florida weather, to include extreme heat. Position may be exposed to fumes, dust, odors and cold/heat temperature extremes
• Perform the following physical activities: kneeling, squatting, bend floor-to waist/waist-to-overhead, reach overhead, simple grasp and fine hand manipulation tasks(use of tools/keyboard/writing)
• Perform all cleaning duties; including use of cleaning chemicals
• Flexible in work locations as placement will depend on business needs and career development opportunities
• Work a flexible schedule/hours based on business need, to include opening, mid-, and closing shifts; nights, weekends, and holidays
