The Executive Director, HR Business Partner - Medicaid is responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy in support of a $12B growing business. This leadership role is a thought partner to aligned executives and focuses on talent management, change management, organizational and performance management, succession planning, and compensation. The Executive Director HR will provide broad scale HR consulting and solutions to senior leaders, operating as a full member of the senior leaders' management team.
This role leads by providing strategic, integrated thinking and consultative support to the business that will attract, develop, and drive talent outcomes, anticipate future organization and talent requirements of client(s) based on business, industry, and market conditions. The Executive Director HR touches all aspects of the HR function and partners with the business leaders to design and deliver on programs that align with and enable the Medicaid segment's business objectives.
Role is responsible for identifying people priorities for the business, using metrics to aggregate themes that drive actions to positively impact bottom line business initiatives; leading the prioritization of key talent initiatives with other HR team members and HR Centers of Excellence; supporting leaders in creating an inclusive environment where colleagues and teams can be at their best; supporting the development and execution of a talent strategy that enables the achievement of business goals and ensuring the identification and development of future leaders, succession planning, and other critical talent processes.
The successful Executive Director HR proactively identifies opportunities to optimize the organization - structure, size, workforce composition; provides leadership coaching and supports team effectiveness efforts with teams through direct and actionable feedback; manages and drives multiple HR programs across the Medicaid segment in a fast paced and complex business environment while building capability within business and support leaders through change. The role assesses and anticipates HR-related needs within their respective businesses, communicates needs proactively HR team, HR leadership and Centers of Excellence. Responsible for maximum performance execution of HR deliverables and in creating action plans. Executes programs including, but not limited to, executive development, strategic workforce planning, talent and performance management, Responsible for driving HR process execution and consistency it and adherence to all HR practices.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 131,500
Maximum: 289,300
Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.
Required Qualifications
• 15+ years of extensive experience in Human Resources with at least 5 years of health care experience
• Deep knowledge and line of sight into the managed care industry (business acumen, industry practices, network resources)
• Highly focused capacity for execution with a compelling sense of urgency for key priorities
• Quickness; able to quickly grasp and understand business strategies
• An individual with an entrepreneurial mindset, sets high standards and fosters a sense of collaboration, pride, and fun with the team
• Advanced knowledge of human resource programs, theory and practices including experience in leadership development, organizational effectiveness, and design, learning and development, performance management, career management, organizational planning, mentoring and developing DEI strategies.
• Demonstrable ability to integrate talent strategies and programs across multiple functions to deliver improved business results.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively influence and communicate at all levels of the organization and lead multiple stakeholder relationships.
• Results oriented, dynamic, flexible and can easily link talent strategies to business solutions
