Overview
We are looking for a Bus Continuity Disaster Recovery Prog Mgr to join our team. This position will directly report to the Chief Information Officer and is responsible for collaborating with department directors and the executive team to develop and implement plans to anticipate, address and mitigate the effects of various business interruptions.
• Develops and maintains a business recovery plan and procedure; reviews, revises, and expands existing plans and protocols.
• Collaborates with IT staff to develop and implement best practices to protect and restore data and systems in the event of natural disasters, viruses, and hackers.
• Identifies and implements recovery operations and methods to allow the company to function at limited or partial capacity in the event that part or all of the infrastructure is damaged or destroyed.
About You • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or related field; Master's degree preferred
• Minimum five years of business continuity or disaster recovery experience with at least two years in a risk management
• Thorough understanding of risk management and business continuity planning
• Knowledge of evolving and current threats including cyber terrorism
• Excellent strategic and problem-solving skills
• Strong analytical skills, able to think through hypothetical systems and concepts and to identify risks and weaknesses in various business processes
• Certified Business Continuity Professional or industry recognized equivalent preferred
