Job Description:
The Solutions Architect, Customer Engagement (CE) role is to lead the enterprise architecture, governance, solution design, and global configuration of the organization's Customer Relationship Management and Service Management software systems, collectively known has Customer Engagement, through best practices and leadership of a technical team. The CE architect will also apply proven communication and problem-solving skills to guide the organization through all phases of the design, development, deployment, and support of CE software critical to business operations.
Principal Duties And Responsibilities
Strategy and Planning
• Ensure that CE applications meet all corporate standards and fulfill end-user requirements across the enterprise.
• Stay abreast of industry best practices, global trends, and vendor roadmaps.
• Conduct research on new and emerging CE technologies or technologies that can be leveraged through existing CE investments
• Actively participate in a CE Center of Excellence (COE) to establish enterprise architecture, governance, and standards for CE solutions.
• Assist in the creation of long-term strategic goals for achieving and maintaining high data quality in conjunction with CE users, department managers, clients, and other key stakeholders.
• Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and associated plans for CE software administration and appropriate use.
Solution Design and Deployment
• Collaborate with COE analysts, developers, and business process owners to design solutions that meet all business requirements
• Configure, test, and implement global requirements for CE solutions
• Assist COE members with configuration and test of divisional and local requirements.
• Develop functional specifications for CE solutions related to reports, integrations, and custom programs.
• Work within the COE to install, configure, and deploy CE applications, systems software, and associated products throughout the enterprise.
• Ensure that any new software integration into CE systems meets functional requirements, system compliance, and interface specifications.
Operational Management
• Recommend, schedule, and oversee software improvements, patches, upgrades, and/or purchases.
• Work with the COE to establish a highly effective operational support model and service-level agreements
• Devise, coordinate, and conduct data-cleansing initiatives to purge and eliminate corrupt or redundant information from CE database.
• Maintain global standards for configuration, development, data, and integration and ensure compliance thereof.
• Benchmark CE initiatives against best practices to ensure optimal performance.
• Formulate and conduct training sessions and teaching materials for propagating CE knowledge throughout the organization.
• Prove tier 3 support as needed.
Knowledge & Experience
• Ten years direct experience in all aspects of the customer engagement process, including extensive experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Proven experience in overseeing the architecture, solution design, development, and implementation of D365 software solutions in a large multi-national organization
• Proved track record of successful D365 implementations in manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of data management, including data lineage, stewardship, segmentation, cleansing, and capture.
• Experience with core software applications - ERP, eCommerce, Sales / Product Configurators, Engineering
• Strong working knowledge of CE business processes including customer relationship management, service management, and project-based work structures
• Experience establishing enterprise governance for configuration, development, integration, and data for CE solutions
• Ability to translate the organization's goals and objectives in an enterprise architecture and roadmap.

Required Education
• Bachelors degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
