Full Job Description Calling all creatives, solvers, analysts, planners, doers and visionaries! East West Charlotte is looking to add a talented Buyer / Sourcing Specialist to join their team in Mooresville, NC. The Buyer / Sourcing Specialist is an integral part of the customer focus team and expected to maintain excellent relationships with our suppliers. The Buyer /Sourcing Specialist will interact with the company’s Program Managers and suppliers, place purchase orders, and assisting with inventory and logistics functions.
Their primary duties include issuing purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers and supporting the purchasing function at EWCH. The Buyer/Sourcing Specialist will use negotiating skills and previous experience in the manufacturing industry to maintain proper inventory levels and meet delivery schedules. The Buyer/Sourcing Specialist will perform as a functional member of Customer Focus Teams and will be a direct Supply Chain contact with customers of East West Charlotte.
This role is responsible for providing critical assistance to the supply chain department.

Role & Responsibilities: *
• Issuing Purchase Orders (POs) to suppliers
• Assists warehouse and operations team in inventory reporting from MRP/ERP system Coordinate return merchandise authorizations (RMA) for department
• Obtains standard materials and services from suppliers at the lowest cost with consideration to quality, reliability, and need. Communicates delivery timelines, quality, and order changes and other related issues to involved parties.
• Detailed daily execution of procurement activities allowing for quick identification and resolution of issues and timely actioning of key activities (quoting, PO placement, reject resolution, MRP/ERP exception messages)
• Engage in ERP implementation functions and data management/cleanup of existing MRP system
Preferred Education, Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field or combination of experience and education relevant to this role. Good verbal and written communication skills. Good Problem solving, prioritization and decision-making skills. Able to work as a member of a team. Excellent organizational skills including ability to track open issues and drive timely closure on projects. Manufacturing experience a plus. Strong experience with Microsoft Office products is required. ERP experience is required (SAP, Epicor, Infor, Oracle, etc.)
