Ilmor is currently the sole engine supplier for MasterCraft’s full line of tow sport crafts.
Join our elite team as an Inventory Specialist! The Inventory Specialist will oversee the processes and procedures for the designated program and should be familiar with working with a large volume, small part inventory. Must be able to organize large amounts of data and be able to pull key information out of the data. A continuous improvement mindset will be important for this position.

Job Summary
Responsibilities and Duties
• Maintain accurate and up to date inventory records for all stocked production components
• Responsible for Daily Cycle Count system, including printing daily cycle count requirements, counting, updating records, investigating discrepancies, and reconciling differences.
• Auditing Bill of Materials for production builds to validate accuracy to insure 100% inventory backflushing
• Collaborate with all departments in order to research and resolve issues, including investigating discrepancies in inventory, billing and supplier invoices.
• Create and maintain systems to ensure all MRO and VMI items are always adequately stocked
• Place Purchase Orders for Maintenance work and other internal departments.
• Order production components to MRP Forecast and Production Demands as needed
• Maintain good supplier relationships and identify new potential suppliers
• Communicate with both suppliers and production team regarding shipments, inventory, and deliveries.
• Regularly review and report on Past Due List and contact suppliers for updates and recovery plans
• Update weekly inventory reports to advise management on current supply situations and identify any potential future issues
• Negotiate and settle damage claims, rejections, losses, return of material, over-shipments, cancellations, and engineering changes with suppliers. As necessary, file claims with freight companies in response to damaged shipments
• Create and maintain purchasing documents, quotes and vendor records, this includes creating back up scans of all packing slips and build records and uploading them to their appropriate location
• Accurately enter serial numbers into the MRP system and ensure that all part numbers and serial numbers match prior to receiving or shipping product.
• Apply continuous improvement techniques and methods to internal processes and systems to increase efficiency, customer services and to reduce cost.
• General office and organization responsibilities, as assigned
• Provide assistance to all departments as needed to ensure a high level of Customer Service, which could include Production, Receiving, Stocking, and Shipping Departments.
Required Skills
• 1-2 years of experience in Shipping & Receiving or related logistics responsibilities
• High Energy
• Extraordinary attention to detail
• Strong data-entry skills
Desired Qualifications
• Experience in a manufacturing setting
• Experience in a warehouse setting
• Experience with ERP or inventory management software
• Intermediate-to-Advanced expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Physical Requirements/Work Environment
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit or stand. The employee is frequently required to use their hands and fingers to handle, feel objects, use tools or controls and climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to walk, reach with hands and arms, kneel, crouch, crawl and talk or hear.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electric shock, and explosives.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. However, some instances of this job may require work in areas where ear protection is necessary.
