We are hiring a Global Planning Expediter for our Mooresville, NC location. We offer competitive benefits, team member incentives and full-time opportunities. Global Planning Expediter serves as a point of contact and link between Planners, All internal departments including vendors and customers. Coordinator/Expediter will be responsible for all clerical and administrative duties within the department, analyze and perform customer portal reporting processes and updates SAP/AX daily manufacturing orders and purchase orders etc. Responsible for expediting, placing Orders to assist Planners. Position may require additional work days or hours based on need of business.
Person for position must be professional at all times, able to multi task, handle high volume of “Change”. Must be self-directed, good organization and time management skills. Team player is a must!
Responsibilities:
• Liaising with vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Facilitating flow of materials between various departments and parties.
• Performing clerical duties, and maintaining accurate records and files of activities.
• Following established guidelines, instructions, policies, and procedures.
Requirements:
• High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent.
• 2+ years’ work experience in similar role.
• Proficient understanding of materials and services procurement.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
• Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficient people skills.
• Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to comply with company policies and procedures.
