Job Description Now hiring a Repair Technician for Surgical Power Tools as direct hire in Mooresville.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
• Coordination with the management team and UK based engineers, to assist with the initial establishment of the repair operation at our Mooresville facility. This will require establishing standard workflow and processes, in addition to ordering and setting up specialist equipment, tools, benches etc. as required.
• Once set up, to ensure all customers’ products are processed, inspected, repaired and assembled in accordance with the company’s Standard Process Instructions and Final Product Inspection protocols.
• Maintain the company’s pool of demonstration equipment, ensuring it is organized and in good order for customer trials.
• Initially hire and then supervise a junior Repair Technician.
• Meet repair workflow and quality goals and standards, and report to management on such.
• Collaborate when required on new product introductions and design improvements.
• Maintain proper records of all warranty claims, test results etc. and advise management of any significant technical problems which may arise from time to time.
• Assist with the receiving and shipping operation, as required.
• Ensure all repairs are performed in an efficient and prompt manner.
• Ensure all tools are organized and stored away correctly ready for dispatch.
• Communicate with the sales team and customers, providing on occasion technical support and/or training.
• Undertake possible site visits as needed.
• Provide technical information to our UK head office.
• To maintain a clean and tidy work environment.
• Comply at all times with the company’s policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
• Have experience in repairing electro-mechanical tools or appliances.
• Must be Covid vaccinated, and be able to pass a drug test and background check
• Must be proficient in Microsoft office, including excel.
• Must have a passport, or be able to obtain one as there will be oversees travel
Training Requirement
• Full product training will be provided. This may involve extensive training on site at our UK facility.
Pay : 20-25hr
