Foot Locker Inc is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to expand its Store Systems team.  Responsible for application design and analysis in the XStore (Java) environment as well as custom .Net applications and web services. The ideal candidate is passionate about solving complex business problems by delivering simple, robust, and maintainable solutions using continuous integration and continuous delivery practices .
Responsibilities
• Design, code, and debug applications using Java programming tools
• Lead application architecture and development efforts in building and maintaining various .Net systems
• Lead efforts to enhance the performance , scalability, and reliability of the infrastructure
• Work in an Agile/Scrum, test driven development environment and participate in the full development life cycle
• Collaborate with multiple cross-functional teams to find technical solutions for complex problems
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or closely related field and 8 years of related work experience.
• 5+ years of experience using Java
• Experience in Oracle XStore or other Point of Sale systems preferred
• E xperience in .Net , C# and .Net framework preferred
• E xperience in building scalable RESTful API’s a plus
• Good understanding of OO principles, data structures and algorithms
• Knowledge of SQL databases
• E xperience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes a plus
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
