We heard you knock!Internship Learning Outcomes: As a Product Marketing intern, you will develop deep understanding of residential markets and target audiences with a heavy focus on the End User Strategic Value Target (SVT). The role will demonstrate the ability to translate product features and benefits into market facing, benefit-based value propositions over time, working closely with cross-functional teams and supporting the product marketing team members as needed.​ All are designed to stretch your skills and to support your professional development by providing clear goals and actionable feedback on your performance. In addition, you will be participating in a program that encompasses: Approximately ten-week summer assignment at Masonite’s corporate headquarters in Tampa, Florida Development of personal and professional skills through training, networking and mentoring relationships Interactions with senior leaders during intern activities such as lunch-and-learn events and leadership dialogues The opportunity to build teamwork skills through interaction with other interns and colleagues  Leadership Relationships:  Vice President of Product Marketing Director of Product Marketing  Sr. Marketing Product Manager  Sr. Marketing Product Manager Cross-functional collaboration with Integrated Marketing, External Communications, Channel Marketing and Product Marketing  Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Support the development and deep understanding of the End User Strategic Value Target (SVT) by supporting research and gathering insights about target personas, buyer needs and journey, and the purchasing decision process for the organization’s products and services​ Help define the market opportunity for a product or service, leveraging the PMM commercialization process; perform and execute competitive analysis, segmentation and targeting exercises that identify the segments with the highest propensity to buy  Support and conduct market and customer research to gather data and insight about target personas, buyer needs and the purchasing decision process for the product, including key buyer roles​ Support development of product naming, positioning, value propositions and messaging that resonate with the buying audience and help produce the source messaging blueprint  Minimum Qualifications and Experience Requirements: Currently enrolled in a university  as a Junior or Senior Major: Business, Marketing, or Communications related  GPA: 3.0 minimum Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite, SharePoint and other business applications Resourceful, enthusiastic, and not afraid to ask questions Strong Interpersonal Communication Skills Integrity and Confidentiality Problem Solving Skills Results Orientation Business Acumen Open to extraordinary!
