Patient Service Specialist (Driver) Responsibilities:
• DME and Rehab: The Patient Service Specialist maintains, delivers, picks up, repairs equipment, and instructs patients on proper usage.
• The Specialist assists with completion of patient account information forms, and when appropriate collects payment. Concentrator Check: The Patient Service Specialist, which conducts Preventive Maintenance on Concentrators Checks, is expected to maintain Category II (oxygen) Medical Equipment in accordance with manufacturer recommendations and State Regulations.
• All Patient Services specialists are required to complete a health screening physical, carry the medical card with them while working and undergo random drug and alcohol testing.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
