What you’ll be doing...
Join our Information Technology team where you will work on new technologies and find ways to meet our customers’ needs and make it easy for them to do business with us. You will work fairly independently on more complex operational and technical projects, issues, systems, and applications. You will use your experience, expertise, and skills to solve problems that are more difficult and infrequent.
• Designing and implementing systems solutions for provisioning Verizon's wholesale and enterprise services.
• Leading a team of onshore and offshore IT developers to develop the software using Java, Spring Boot on different cloud platforms.
• Collaborating with IT development teams from Engineering, Network Inventory, Activation, Circuit Testing, and Dispatch teams to integrate provisioning services.
• Interacting with network planning, engineering, and operations teams to understand provisioning processes for service fulfillment.
• Designing and developing User Interface screens for handling manual tasks and automation fallouts.
• Designing and developing reports on order volumes, provisioning intervals, and manual touch points to improve process efficiencies.
• Working with Quality Engineering and Production Support teams to get software tested in SIT/UAT and deployed in production.
• Troubleshooting any software, IT systems issues/defects in test and production environments.

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

You’ll need to have:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Electrical, Electronic Engineering, or related discipline or four years of experience.
• Four or more years of relevant work experience.
• Four or more years of experience with E2E integration of complex heterogeneous systems in Cloud (AWS/GCP) and on-premise data centers.
• Four or more years of experience in software development using Java/C++.
• Four or more years of experience with microservices development using Spring Boot, Node JS, Angular.
• Experience with Server back end and API/Service development.
• Experience with JUnit/TestNG, Maven, Oracle, UNIX.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
• Bachelor's degree.
• Two or more years of experience with Apache Camel or Apigee for service integration.
