RAD Diversified, a Real Estate Investment Trust, is looking for a qualified IT Support Specialist that will install and maintain computer systems and networks while leveraging the latest security trends and keeping the company operating at its highest functionality. You will “train” users of the systems to make appropriate and safe usage of the IT infrastructure. A successful IT Support Specialist must have a thorough knowledge of computer software and hardware and a variety of cloud applications, networks, and operating systems. The ideal candidate will have great troubleshooting abilities and attention to detail. The goal is to build and maintain updated and efficient computer systems and networks to optimize the role of technology on business sustainability.
Responsibilities
• Set up workstations, VoIP phones, computers, and necessary peripheral devices ( printers etc.)
• Provide IT support to the executive offices of the company
• Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications
• Manage and maintain local networks in ways that optimize performance
• Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems
• Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment
• Set up company emails for new employees
• Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work
• Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging etc.)
• Perform asset management by tracking company owned computers
• Identify computer or network equipment shortages and place orders
Skills
• 3-5 years of experience as an IT support specialist
• Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Google Workspace and Gmail Administration (preferably)
• Experience with VoIP administration in RingCentral (preferably)
• Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
• Knowledge of Windows 10/11 and MAC operating systems
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required
• Certification as IT Technician will be an advantage (e.g. CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional or Google IT Support Certification)
