JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Marketing Manager will oversee operations, project management & planning, and forecasting and reporting. This role is highly collaborative and will work cross functionally between sales, marketing, and operations. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, data-driven, process-oriented, and highly resourceful. Must be well versed in 360 marketing, leveraging data & insights into action, and have direct experience bridging sales and marketing.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
LEADERSHIP & COLLABORATION: 55%:
• Oversee the development and execution of 360 marketing campaigns/product launches across all elements of marketing mix, including growth channels, CRM/email, retail, website, advertising, events
• Develop marketing strategies, ideas and tactics that grow overall business (retail/e-commerce/commercial), including generating leads and managing the full marketing funnel
• Create relevant, differentiated product positioning strategies, ensuring consistency across all touch points
• Collaborate with Shopper/Field to develop and execute retailer specific marketing plans, including building out presentations and presenting to retailers
• Collaborate with sales growth team to create A/B/multivariate ad tests from design through execution. Track, analyze and optimize creative for maximum efficiency.
• Implement creative brief process and be the lead project planner for all creative deliverables, utilizing asana
• Review and manage incoming marketing/creative requests from cross functional teams
• Collaborate with project leads in Sales Growth, Product Commercialization and Operations to understand strategy, goals, planning and timelines, while being a strategic voice for creative and marketing
• Facilitate workflows and delivery of assets including standardizing secure asset trafficking processes
• Stay up to date on marketing and industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging marketing channels
• Lead consumer and market research efforts, leveraging insights into action and data backed decisions
• Responsible for creating, implementing, and guiding a company's digital marketing strategy. They oversee the budget and flow of content across all channels and ensure that all campaigns align with the objectives of the PR and sales teams.
ANALYSIS, CONTROL, REPORTING: 30%
• Monitor and report on all marketing KPIS to measure effectiveness of all marketing efforts
• Manage the marketing budget including forecasting, reconciling expenses, annual budget planning, report to leadership team
LEARNING & OTHER: 15%
• Review marketing opportunities from media, publications, retail partners
• Additional assignments as required, including events, creative/video production, in-store displays & POS, etc.
• Attend webinars and events to stay on top of best practices
REQUIREMENTS
Education
• BS, BA (Business or Marketing degree preferred)
• Preferred: 4-6 yrs. applicable experience
• Travel less than 15%; domestic
Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience
• You must have experience leading cross-functional teams in CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) category
• Responsible for creating, implementing, and guiding a company's digital marketing strategy.
• Responsible to oversee the budget and the flow of content across all channels and ensure that all campaigns align with the objectives of the PR and sales teams.
• Must have experience driving key initiatives that require collaboration with multiple agency partners
• Must have experience evaluating the financial performance of assigned brands/products and developing and implement strategies to improve sales and/or margin
• Must have experience or skills needed in developing campaign briefs and planning across all marketing channels and media platforms.
• Must be able to guide our brand’s voice and vision across all business functions
• Must have excellent presentation skills, preparing materials and presenting
• Must be fluent in the operational and analytical side of marketing
• Must enjoy anticipating the future, create innovative techniques to win customers devotion, and increase market share
• Proven skills in developing strategic alliances
• Must be proficient in project management utilizing Trello or relevant platform.
• Must be technology proficient (Microsoft Office, G suite, Zoom, Slack, CRM) and have the ability to adapt to new technologies.
• Occasional evening/ weekend work may be required for special assignments.

Work Environment
• Primarily works in an office environment.
• Occasionally may be exposed to dust, odors, oils, cleaning solvents, lubricants, and noise if a walk through the manufacturing and warehouse environments is required.
• Will occasionally travel to trade conferences, and key retailers, using digital tools and presenting in portable offices or podiums.
