Role:
As a Partner Technical Manager for Splunk’s Cloud Partners, you will be part of a world-class pre-sales team. You understand the technology and offerings of Splunk and the cloud provider, providing technical expertise and thought leadership on Splunk’s solutions to our Cloud Partners, sales organizations and our mutual prospects and customers.
You will focus on joint customers while acting as the technical authority for team members surrounding our partnership. Working closely with these team members, you will build initiatives highlighting the value of our services to the Cloud Provider, adjusting your delivery to the wide variety of audiences around the partnership as needed.
You enjoy the opportunity to work directly provider’s Service Teams and Business Leaders, as well as Splunk Product Teams, Account Teams and Partner Management sharing your knowledge to ultimately improve our business and customers’ success.
You love the idea of uncovering new ways our partnerships can tackle critical business problems together, building those ideas into significant assets and experiences for prospects and customers.
What you bring:
• You bring a strong sense of self-motivation and an unbridled curiosity about what “is possible” with technology, the desire to work with an exciting team, and a positive, fun-loving demeanor. We can guide you on the technology, help you with soft skills, and educate you on processes.
• 3+ years' demonstrated ability in customer-facing Sales or Partner roles.
• 3 0r more years of experience with IT operations, enterprise security or app development.
• Experience selling and working with pure SaaS solutions in multi-tenant architectures.
• Hands-on experience working with AWS, GCP or Azure, where you are certified or eager to become certified.
• Familiarity with Splunk and various monitoring tools like New Relic, Datadog, Grafana, is a real advantage in this role. Be prepared to discuss this.
• Potential travel is approximately 10%.
