What you’ll be doing...
As a Senior Manager – SAP Functional, you will lead a team responsible for delivery supply chain capability leveraging SAP digital products (S/4HANA), while partnering with technical platform team. The role will mostly focus on supply chain scope as it relates to Verizon Customer Group (VCG) line of business. This role will also work closely with senior leadership and peers across Verizon’s Global Technology Services (GTS) and the Global Supply Chain business (GSC) organization.
• Leading medium and large SAP projects, executing all approved deliverables on time and on budget.
• Coordinating project resources to ensure program and business needs are addressed through proactive priority management with business leaders.
• Communicating project progress by producing project reports to provide timely and accurate project status and decision support information to Executive Management, IT Sr Management, the business sponsors, and the project team.
• Developing project plans and ensuring qualified resources are staffed to effectively deliver SAP projects of varying sizes. Working directly with VCG and CSG (Corporate System Group) partners to ensure tactical and long-term staffing needs are met.
• Leadership in functional design, implementation, and support of the end-to-end ERP application in the areas of Procurement-To-Pay and Consumer Sales and Operations
• Partnering closely with cross-CIO organization and VCG Line of Business team members on product life cycle, agile delivery, business acceptance, product quality, and triage management.
• Actively driving ideation to concept and concepts to detail requirement growing with business.
• Building business case and estimate, clearly setting expectation with business on scope and timeline.
• Leading solution architecture and design sessions with functional and technical platform teams.
• Establishing a cadence to communicate business product development status for critical programs to senior leadership.
• Co-leading with Platform team on multiple test environments including SIT, UAT, and E2E to ensure maximum availability.
• Acting as a champion for Agile and DevSecOps practices.
• Applying AI/ML techniques to optimize the scope, scale, and efficiency.
• Managing product management staff ensuring short-medium-long term roadmap plan.
• Leveraging Automation/RPA to eliminate manual processes and activities across the supply chain value chain.
• Acting as an escalation point for client services.
• Fostering the culture of inclusion, innovation, and integration while stay current with emerging technologies and take rational risk in implementing those technologies to deliver ROI.

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.
What we’re looking for...
You'll need to have:
• Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Six or more years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in Supply Chain Technology and ERP domain.
• Experience in SAP ECC (Some S/4 HANA implementation experience preferred).
• Experience with functional configuration of SAP ECC or S/4HANA in one of the process areas like OTC, PTP, or Logistics.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
• Master’s degree in project or product management or related discipline.
• Experience in SAP Fiori use cases.
• Good understanding of Telecom and Retail Industry.
• Knowledge of business analytics tools and Big Data.
• Experience managing Offshore and On-site teams
• Experience in S/4HANA integration with other SAP products like IBP, ARIBA, CAR.
• Understanding of SAP Interface and ABAP technology.
• Technical product life cycle management experience.
• Experience with E2E Supply Chain processes (e.g., Procurement, Logistics, Inventory Management).
• Experience in Supply Chain Logistics, warehouse management and automation, Shipping, and 3PL integration/management.
• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to collect, absorb, and analyze information quickly and independently.
• Strong interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of individuals at all levels of the organization.
• Highly motivated, with the ability to take initiative, set priorities and perform tasks with minimal guidance.
• Proven ability to develop and manage cross-functional processes and project timelines.
• Excellent follow-through, attention to detail, and time management skills.
• Continuous focus on improving software quality and predictability of releases.
• Good background in DevOps tool chain (e.g., JIRA, Jenkins, Artifactory).
• Excellent communication skills to present complex ideas and concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Five or more of experience as a people leader.
