Sunshine Thrift Stores, Inc is a Florida based for-profit corporation formed to assist local charitable organizations with their fundraising efforts. The Donation Development Manager serves an important role in overall operations of the donation pipeline. The following is the minimum requirements for this role:
• Accurately, efficiently, and effectively conduct all aspects of supply chain productivity and donation activity across multiple organizations, including the donation process, customer perception, customer interaction, messaging, advertising, and communication of the programs.
• Drive the long-term development of the donation process and programs through increased exposure, technology, marketing, sales, customer service, and overall program management.
• Manage all aspects of drop box program and customer service related to multiple charitable organizations.
• Technologically savvy and comfortable with the use of proprietary systems; also Slack, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Dynamic individual with proven communication skills to professionally work with various co-workers, vendors, customers, donors, and organizations.
REQUIREMENTS
• Understand and appreciate the mission of Sunshine Thrift Stores
• Must be proficient and able to successfully use various technical programs for business
• purposes including but not limited to MSOffice (Word, Excel, Outlook), Raiser’s Edge
• Above-average written and verbal communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, including the ability to multi-task
• Must be detail-oriented and able to work independently
• Must be able to deal with individuals of varying skill levels and remain consistent in keeping a
• professional demeanor
• Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally with donors, volunteers, co-workers
• and customers
• Occasional travel may be required
• Nights and weekend hours may be required in order to complete assigned tasks
