Primary Purpose of Position: *
As the Quality Analytics Manager you will lead the Quality Analytics Team delivering advanced analytic insights, custom and self-service BI reporting to the enterprise.
We are seeking a talented leader who will develop a high-performing team that executes predictive analytics, data modeling and visualization, and enterprise-wide reporting, using complex, high-volume, structed and unstructured datasets. The position reports to the Sr. Manager or Quality Analytics.
The Quality Analytics Manager works closely with business and clinical departments to deliver tools, analysis, and reports.

Role and Responsibilities: *
• Develop and direct an effective team that leads advanced analytics, data science, enterprise-level dashboards, and performance monitoring.
• Provide thought leadership and operational support for emerging and existing capabilities, develop best practices, and drive the process of creative thinking and solutions while directing the change and adoption of new processes and technologies.
• Establish the development, adoption, and adherence of tool best practices across the organization, including the development and sharing of tool utilization, quality, and continuous improvement plans.
• Lead and grow teams that will provide a consistent pattern of delivery of customer-centered improvements and innovation while guiding the professional and technical development of direct reports.
• Collaborate with peers to set peer review, quality assurance, high-quality service, consultation, and products to customers by understanding their business needs and developing a seamless transition of work processes across business and clinical departments. Maintain knowledge of competing projects and programs across departments and outside areas of accountability.
• Continually seek and consider innovative solutions to business problems and customer needs and apply as relevant in support of the organization's mission, culture, and philosophy.

• Excellent analytical, strategic planning, quality management and project management skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills required to schedule, meet and maintain critical deadlines and routine reporting demands
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office products
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with leadership, staff, stakeholders, state and federal officials
• Ability to effectively plan, organize, direct, coordinate and evaluate business operations including a broad range of diverse functions
• Ability to exercise sound judgment, make effective decisions and resolve problems involving complex and sensitive areas
• Ability to recognize and sensitively manage cultural diversity issues and interactions with various and diverse members of staff and the community
• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively to develop processes and protocols, to analyze data and solve problems

Education/Experience Required: *
• Bachelors' degree in business, finance, computer science, information technology, or a related area or four years of equivalent work experience. (Required)
• Five years' experience leading analytic and reporting teams, including five years of experience planning, implementing and deploying internal business systems. (Required)
• Five years of people management/leadership experience. (Required)
• Five years of experience working with health plan data analytic & reporting systems (Required)
• An aptitude top partner effectively with technical departments in the development and maintenance of business systems. (Required)
Other requirement:
• Must live in North Carolina or within 40 miles of the NC border

Education/Experience Preferred: *
• Experience participating with senior management and cross-functional teams to establish strategic plans and objectives. (Preferred)
• Experience working in an automated, transaction-based environment. (Preferred)
• Solid technical knowledge of business systems and reporting tools. (Preferred)
