Charlottes Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in the Granite Quarry area of Salisbury, NC in finding a Full-Time Nanny for their 2 month old twin boys. The nanny would typically be needed Monday - Friday and a guarantee of 30 hours would be paid each week. There may be additional weekend hours as needed, with advanced notice. Both parents are pilots with variable work schedules but they both know their schedules one month in advance. They need a nanny who is flexible with scheduling.
The best nanny for this family would be professional, punctual, and energetic. The family is looking for an experienced nanny, who has previously cared for infants. They would also like to find a nanny who has experience caring for twins. They are looking for a nanny who has strong moral and ethical values. The nanny should be able to provide nurturing and loving care to the twins daily. The family is also looking for an active and engaging nanny who will come up with creative and developmentally appropriate ways to engage their twins throughout the day. These activities would include, but not be limited to reading to the children, playing with toys, doing developmental and sensory activities, tummy time, arts and crafts, taking them outside, going on strolls, and more. Currently the twins enjoy tummy time and relaxing in their swings. One of the twins has acid reflux and takes medication twice per day to manage it. The parents give him the medicine and he usually sleeps sitting up.
Nanny Responsibilities Include:
• Meeting daily scheduling needs of the children (feeding, changing, napping)
• Engaging with the children on an age appropriate level
• Playing with the children both inside and outside the home
• Doing hands on learning activities with the children
Household Duties Include (Children are first priority):
• Washing and preparing bottles
• Childrens laundry and changing childrens sheets weekly
• Vacuuming, if time allows
Pets - The family hasa 25 pound miniature Aussie dog. There will be no responsibilities related to the dog but the nanny must be comfortable with a dog and not allergic.
Qualifications:
• Have at least 3 years of professional nanny experience
• Have a college degree or equivalent experience
• Have a professional resume
• Fill out a complete online application
• Pass a pre-screening interview with Charlottes Best Nanny Agency
• Pass a national background check, including driving record check
• Have a valid drivers license
• Have safe and reliable transportation
• Have a minimum of three professional references
• Be non smoking/vaping
• CPR and First Aid Certified
• Nanny should be fluent in English, any additional languages are a plus
• The Covid-19 vaccine and booster would be preferred, but not required
Start Date, Salary, and Benefits:
• This position starts at the end of September to October 1st, 2022
• Legal pay is offered at $22 - $28 per hour depending on experience
