Jamison Professional Services, Inc. (“Jamison”) is currently seeking a qualified and motivated candidate for the position of Certified Executive Housekeeper (CEH).
Job Title: Certified Executive Housekeeper
The Certified Executive Housekeeper (CEH) directs and controls all housekeeping operations and the staff of the housekeeping department. The CEH has to coordinate between housekeeping crews in order to inspect assigned areas and to ensure standards.
The CEH will supervise and train the contracted personnel.
The CEH will coordinate that housekeepers perform general/basic cleaning, to include carpet extraction/shampoo, stripping/waxing floors, through three step disinfections, terminal cleaning and ultra-violet (UV) sterilization of patient care areas to include removal or mitigating highly infectious materials or terminal cleaning areas with patients with infectious diseases.
The CEH shall develop and evaluate the environmental sanitation procedures in order to ensure compliance.
Areas of assignment for cleaning are between the Administrative and Patient Care Cleaning. This will include but will not be limited to the following:
Exam Rooms, Restrooms, Waiting Areas, Patient Rooms, Supply Rooms, Sterile Processing and Special Procurement and Distribution Areas, Hallways and Lobbies, Elevators and Doors, Reception Areas, Lobbies, Offices, Laundry Rooms, Soiled Utility and Soiled Linen Rooms, Clean Linen Rooms, Biohazard Rooms, Doctors Lounge, Hard Tiled Surface and Carpeted Floor Care, Housekeeping Closets, Heat Convectors, Radiators and Vents, Public Areas, Shower Areas, Sinks, Stairwell, Windows, Corridors, Entryways, Administration Areas, Break Rooms, Kitchen and Dining Areas.
Education/Experience Requirements:
The CEH shall have at least one (1) year of prior experience as a CEH Manager within the last three years.
The CEH must have written certification of experience and copies of any formal training program (i.e. National Executive Housekeeping Association (NEHA) or comparable certification.
Shall be fluent in written and spoken English.
Shall exhibit positive and professional presence in front of a work group and have effective communication techniques.
Shall be well organized and able to structure deliverables in a logical sequence.
Shall be observant, objective, and use a critical approach towards the effectiveness of their actions.
Demonstrated experience working in a hospital/clinic environment.
Shall perform all work requirements in accordance with all Safety rules, regulations and policies.

Hours of operations:
The Certified Executive Housekeeper (CEH) will perform 1st Shift patient care cleaning services from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, to include federal holidays.
These required patient care shift coverages mirror the organic Environmental Management Service (EMS) housekeeping shifts and mirrored patient care cleaning shifts reduce and mitigate confusion and communication issues that may occur during sanitation operations.
Clearance Level Required : Must be able to pass a Federal Background check.
